I'm currently grinding the tool steel CPM-4(Rc 62-64) using a DuMore #57 toolpost grinder and am having no success at all. Norton SG wheels (46G or 46H) work great on this material but I can't find anyone who sells an SG type(ceramic/alumina blend)wheel in a suitable size. This application needs a wheel 4"-5" dia. and 3/8"-1/2" wide with a 3/8" center hole. Another wheel type with PROVEN performance on CPM-4 would be fine. Any help from someone with a similar situation would be greatly appreciated.
