Just out of curiosity, actually, what's the material of the bars in the gymnastic game? Thanks.

Parallel bars are wood - probably hickory or ash.

I think uneven parallel bars are the same.

I think he meant the steel bars. Heat treated 410 SS would work fine and stay shiny. Just temper them above 1160F.
