Can someone please tell me what the difference is between a "space plan" and a "spatial plan"?
I am trying to translate the Dutch term "ruimteplan" / "ruimtelijke plan" ... in a text about an architecture and engineering company that designs VERY LARGE things, such as hospitals and public spaces, etc. For example, it says somewhere, "Through an architectural design competition, COMPANY X was appointed by the management to create a spatial plan, that outlines the care and development strategy for the next X years."
"space plan" ->
"spatial" plan ->"
Google Images seems to imply that "space plan" refers to buildings, whereas "spatial plan" to larger structures/areas of land. Is this at all correct?
Thanks!
Michael
