What properties does EN24T have?

Hi ChuckNorris

Well EN24 is given as a BS970 817M40 equivalent although I not sure what the T stands for.
If you follow this link and scroll down you will find the yield and tensile stress for the equvialent 817M40 material if that helps.

hi again

The T might be for specifying the tensile strength range of the material.

EN24T: 1 1/2% Nickel Chrome Molybdenum steel
Heat treated to the 'T' range = 55/65 tons/sq in.

EN24T / 817M40T is equivalent to AISI 4340 if that helps.
T is, as geoffthehammer said, heat treated to a specific range, in metric 850 to 1000MPa.
