when you have a rising main that at the end rises up 10m and then back down to discharge?

my brain is drawing a blank and google isn't helping

it is a siphon, but has a specific term. Think it involves someones name, like faraday loop

Well if it rises 10m it won't work as a syphon if there is no pressure at the base of the syphon.

Never heard a particular name, but if this is a rising main team maybe try in the water treatment forum.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Would it be the Froude No that is used to size gravity flow siphon lines ?
