What is the proper thread undercut value before plating?

I have an M3 screw that is going to get plated with a total buildup of .00015-.00025" (.004-006mm)of silver plating. What would be the proper undercut value for this M3 thread screw and how is this value determined?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
