hi;


when i startanalysis in mechanica, it takes too long time to display results.


is that normal or there is a problem?

It depends on some parameters: number of equations, contacts, number of element etc..

i would open the Study Status that you will find in
Analysis box in Mechanica. It tells you where is your
analysis are now, and also you will know from there when
the analysis is done.
 
Maybe try running the quick analyses first until you know
that your model works. Save the multi-pass analyses until
you have a functioning model.
