Hello everybody

A overcurrent device is said to be of type 'SOURCE'?What does it mean.OCR,fuse, sectionalizer are some of the devices included in the list of OC devices.

What's the function of 'SOURCE'?Thanks

In what context is the type 'SOURCE' used? I would think that it references the location of the device instead of a type of device. As jbartos said, it would refer to a device on the source side.
