What is size of demister pad in compressor suction KO drum.
And which type of demister to be used?

The size or shape of the pad may be varied due to the manufacturer, process condition, or KO drum configuration. may consult with vendor, i.e. Koch-Glitsch, for your application.

Usually 100mm thick, but sometimes a 150mm thick pad is used. Voidage should be 97%. Use a SS316 wiremesh type demister for general and non fouling applications. If there is wax, dirt, gunky corrosion inhibitor or similar, use a vane type demister.
