I am hearing this term thrown around on the project I am on.
Just curious to know what this acronym stands for.

Do not know what you are working on, but if you try google: interference-to-noise ratio (INR), the "hole" could be a spectrum hole?

It is a wing sub assembly and final assembly system that we are working on.

Ask someone on the project.

Aerospace is famous for making up acronyms for just about anything. I have made up my fair share.

What you are hearing at INR is actually I and R or I'n'R for Interchangeable and Replaceable.

I didn't know holes could be interchangeable or replaceable :p

Yep...."I & R" That is what it was. Thanks Wes!
