What is a good program to do steel bridge shop drawings?

Personally, I dont know much about detailing software. However, a few years ago I had a fancy pedestrian bridge project and the fabricator used Tekla to preoduce the SD's because of the 3-D modelling capability. It produced very good drawings.
Take a look at an issue of Modern Steel Construction from AISC; in the back there are advertisements for detailing software.

You can look at Bentley ProStructures if you want piece marking capabilities. I used it to model a steel bridge once but it was way too powerful for contract drawings and doesn't handle curved member well, though. This was for a vertical lift bridge and it worked pretty well for that.
I would maybe reach out to High Steel or some other fabricator and see what they use.

I have seen several shop drawings produced by Tekla Structures.
