We've been using mostly Allpile and to a lesser extent Lpile for lateral analysis piles and drilled shafts (caissons) for bridges, sign structures, high mast light towers, etc. embedded in various soil and rock layers. I've been tasked to look into alternative software that we could use instead.

Since most of our 'bedrock' doesn't actually qualify as rock, but rather "intermediate geomaterials" (IGMs), such as shale, mudstone, siltstone, poorly cemented sandstone, etc. it would be good to have analysis software that's good at modeling drilled shafts in those materials.

Was waiting to see if you got other responses... I've only really used L-pile, Broms, and some pseudo P-y methods at companies that couldn't justify a license.
