"close to wall" physic simulation.?

cfd close to wall simulation

i am new to cfd
i just simply do not understand
if you want to simulate a motor bike cyclist whta kind of simulation for airflow do you need??

still do not understand what close to wall means
lots of formula's but no explemnation

Find an elementary aerodynamics or fluid dynamics textbook, and read the section regarding boundary layers, as a start.
