what different metal platings are good for certain metal for bonding

I would like to know if there is a general chart or site that i can go to to find out about the different kind of
metal plating on certain metals will make good bonding or
soldered joint with certain metals.
For example, Ni-Au plated copper pad makes good
connection with Au lead.
One other question I would like to find out ASAP.
Can i solder Al wire to Sn plated Cu pad or Cu
pad? Does my wire need to be made out of Ag?
