Hi all,

Was wondering if any of you had already modeling and simulated mech properties of glues. If so what did it yield to? coherent results?

Thx in advance for your feedbacks

Hi

I do work with simulation of structural adhesives and joints. This includes work on temperature and moisture dependent mechanical properties. I use Abaqus or MSC/Marc for this purpose. I am not sure what you want to discuss in this regard.

Hi aamirmub,

Sorry for the late reply I was away for some time. Anyway thanks for your feedback.
I was wondering what was the best method to use for testing glues, I have a batch of glue with different properties and would like ProMech or similar to calculate the resistance of those glues subjected to a load or moisture degradation.
Would you be king enough to explain how you are modelising glues with MSC/Marc?
Thanks in advance.
