Hi, I’m a pro at 3D graphics but have a basic understanding of mechanics.
I’ve come up with this 3D mock up.
The end result is getting the brown cylinder to make about quarter turns back and forth, this will support a 240 pound weight (on bearings).

The question is, how do I buy these connected tie rods (if that’s what they’re called?) that I displayed in red green and yellow.

Is there a place that specializes in this sort of thing?
From my research, car tie rods probably won’t do, cause they don’t connect together... but I’m not sure?

Also, since you guys are pros here, do you see a better way of accomplishing this approximate 1/4 turn on the brown cylinder with a 110V motor you can plug at home.
I figure a DC motor with a reducer should be fine here, although I’m not sure, I need around 30RPM.

Thanks in advance

They are connecting rods or linkage rods. Made to your design specifications, not off-the-shelf items.
