Dears,
CAn anyone tell me that as a beginer What are the major things to check in CAESAR II output reprot.How can I assure that final report is OK.

1- Stress [summary] extended(for HYD,SUS,EXP,OCC) for B31.3
2- Restraint [summary] extended(for HYD,OPE,OCC)
3- Displacement(for SUS,OPE,OCC)
 
The best thing to do is to check and double check your input. Secondly, Ceasar output will be Caesar output, based on whatever input you made. What you need to prove to yourself is that your model is correctly interpreted by Caesar. You will know that if you get some output from your mental model and compare that to the output from Caesar's model. Estimate the forces and moments from simplifying assumptions and some quick hand calculations in some critical areas. If they agree within reason, you're probably good. If not, figure out why they don't. In fact, if you don't do both of these things as more or less routine practice, I'd say you're not an engineer, just a program jockey.
