I have been asked to provide AISI equivalents to these Japanese grades, but was unable to find them listed in either Woldman's or in the Stahlschlussel reference books that I have on hand. An internet search also came up empty. Can anyone provide the equivalent grade designations (if there are any) used in North America? This one has me scratching my head.

These grades also do not show up in any Google search or in Worldwide Equivalent. My guess is you were given incorrect information and these are really SCM420H and SCM418H, which do exist.
