Could anyone send me a sketch or picture of a ''davit'' clips, which I really don't know what it is ?

I'm reading API 653 Annex C checklist for my first inspection in the next weeks, but I'd like to know what are ''davit'' clips on C1.3.2 for example, and this before I go on site.

Thanks

Ced

A davit is a swinging hoist arm used to support something- used on lifeboats for ships, used for shell manway cover plates on tanks. On the tank in question, the shell manways either won't have anything to support them, or will have hinges, or will have davits. They're not too common on valves, as the specific reference mentions, though. Details of the clips would vary.
