If you had a glulam structure outdoors or glulam beams extending outside the building envelope with out any over hang protection; would you use treated material and apply the reduction factors for wet use?
Based on my experience the answer to this questions depends on whether you ask some one from the west coast or from the eastern US.
I would not consider it a wet use service condition. I have been told by AFPA people in the past that I am wrong.
