i have recently been having problems with a geoenergy wet eltrostatic precipitator(wesp), and have found that this problem occurs more frequently.
the problem that happens is t/r-1 runs at low voltage and low current.
normal 50kv@100 to 600ma
abnormal 38-42kv@ 20 to 80ma
one suggestion from help desk was running dry but confirmed,
that is not the case.
did one test to confirm that kraft controller is working correctly and isolated the grid from t/r-1 unit and as expected our voltage at no load climbed to 100kv, so controller ok.
another thing is the probes in side iam currently looking at maybe this being the problem, loose connections or probes not aligned properly(not too sure yet if that would be our problem).
just to add also when this t/r-1 unit isolated from the grid i hooked up this grid to the second t/r-2 unit running along side it which is runing good, when the grid was jumpered to this second grid to see if things would run well or problem would occur, it came up with low volt. and ma.
if anyone has been having problems with a system like this please advise on some regular maintenence checks, that would be appreciated.
as always thanxs in advance.
