Weldment Acceptance Criteria 1

I have a customer who wants Weldment Acceptance Criteria for weld repairs to Gate, Globe & Check valves. I have loked at ASME Sec. V (NDE) & Sec. IX (Welding), but I am not familiar with these documents. I would like input regarding the issue of Weldment Acceptance Criteria. Any help would be much appreciated.

Normally, welding and acceptance criteria for valves is in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Div 1 requirements. The basis for this is ASME B16.34, "Valves - Flaned, Threaded and Welding End", See section 8.4 in B16.34.
