We are working with a sign company and need to weld sheets of alloy C22000 alloy to a bronze sculpture, C87300 alloy (Everdur). We are using tig but it doesn't seem to melt the metal very well at all. Any suggestions on a better way to weld this metal?

Thank you.
David

Oh, do not double post.

C22000 is not a weldable alloy, due to zinc content. Brazing or soldering could work.

Braze. Don't try to weld these.
