Welding Step time in Abaqus

If I am using a DFLUX model for welding with cf=4 and cr=8 for a 2d plate with 400 mm length and 6 mm thickness. Suppose the velocity is 1.33mm/s. What should be the step time I have to use for the heating?
is it cf+cr/v ?
 
I assume that cf and cr are parameters of the Goldak heat source model. They represent the length of the heat source. To calculate the necessary step time you have to take into account the initial position of the point representing the heat source and find the distance it needs to travel. Keep in mind that this point is not located in the middle of the jeat source it represents.

Yes the cf and cr are the goldak parameters.

I am converting a pipe of dimension 114 outer diameter with 6mm thickness and 400 mm length to an axisymmetric model. If its a 3d model we can go with the 2*pi*r/V as the step time .But when it comes to the axisymmetric model I am confused with the step time. Is it the length of the heat source(cf+cr)/velocity?.

Also another is regarding the plasticity model. Most of the article did not mention the plastic strain values corresponds to the yield stress values. Why is it so. Is it not necessary to consider?. Can we make it as '0' with temperature dependent?
