Welding on water filled tubes

We have welded a stringer pass (3/32)down hand on a SA210C waterfilled boiler tube with 7018A1. Single stringer about 2.5" in length. The welding was to repair an area of undercut (membrane to tube). Question is what effect on the base material and possible future failure could this cause? Our main concern would be hydrogen cracking.

Water-backing obviously increases the cooling rate for the tube base metal, and would impact application of preheat and PWHT (if required). Since this is a CS boiler tube with no preheat or PWHT requirments, and a single a stringer bead was applied similar to a wash pass, there should be no appreciable effecs on increased susceptibility to failure for this tube. The might be added residual stress in the weld region but this would reduce over time.
