WELDING OF SS316L plug with DUPLEX tubes

CAN WE USE SS316L PLUGS TO WELD ON A-789 S31803? FOR WELDING WHAT FILLER WIRE TO BE USED? CAN WE USE ER-2209?
INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Use ER-2209 filler metal for joining the plug to the tube. Keep the interpass temperature during welding below 350 deg F. No preheat, and no PWHT.

Are you welding the plug to the tube, or to the tubesheet, and if the tubesheet, what is the tubesheet (or tubesheet overlay if any) material?

THANKS metengr..thats what i was expecting...
RMW.. The welding of the plug is on tube seal welds. We do not touch tubesheet for welding purpose..
