Hello,

I am currently looking through literature to find any examples of studies done on dissimilar welds between commercial-grade and nuclear-grade zirconium alloys, such as a weld between Zr 705, and Zr-2.5Nb. I have not been able to find anything so far. From what I understand, hafnium has no effect on the welded properties of the material, and behaves identically to zirconium in most mechanical aspects. If anyone has any sort of information regarding this process, it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

maybe can help you:
