I need some information on welding 430 (or 430F)
stainless steel to 304 or 316.
Is it possible using TIG, beam or laser welding?
What are the concerns when welding these materials
together if any?
What filler rod is recommneded?
Any other information would be greatly appreciated
Thank You,

Vince, The problems that result are highly dependent on the application. Please detail the types of component configurations your are thinking of welding, identifying material grades, thicknesses, geometries. If you email any info. you have to dspalding@mitsuibabcock.com I'll see if it is straight forward or not.
