Welder Qualification

Dear Experts,
Does a welder who qualified by welding the procedure also need to take a welder qualification test based on the same Section IX? If not, does the same apply to both groove and fillet welds?

I believe the welder who welds the test sample is also qualified by that- stated in the code somewhere- but I don't have that handy to look it up.
