Hello,

I am trying to do an analysis in Mechanica of a brazed joint but the constraint options it gives is only for a weld joint. Being that theywill behavequite differently - does anyone have a suggestion for simulating a brazed joint?

Cheers!

Sounds like you are using shell elements, welds are not used with solids. There is no braze connection. Consider making a seperate solid 3d part with different material for the braze.

Thanks, I will look into that - however the problem I see is that we will still need to tell Pro E that there is a connection in there of some kind and I am not sure how to do that.

I have a question like yours.
