Weight measurement on CAD using area density

Does anyone knows how to measure wegith using area density on NX for non regular bodies?

whilst i don't understand "area density" ...
one way (very olde school) would be to apply a body force (say 1g down) and the reaction would equal the weight;
another (an artfull combination of new and old) would be to 3D print your part, immerse it in water, to determine it's volumne ...;
another would be to ask the cad program that created the part "what's the volume?" and take it from there.

The way that I typically find the mass of a design in NX is to do the following:

While in the Modelling application, Go to Analysis \ Measure Bodies select the components of interest, then in the drop-down menu select volume.

Once the total volume has been determined, simply calculate mass by using the materials density (I usually check matweb.com to find what I'm looking for).
