Hi,
We are looking for a weather (including UV) resistant, flexible polymer film to be laminated to extruded polystyrene foam. Desired service life is ~30 years. Tall order, I know. To date we have identified the following candidates:
1.5 mil bondable Tedlar.
Roofing membranes such as TPO, PVC, and EPDM.
A proprietary paint system that is supposedly also "fireproof".
If anyone can think of anything else I'd appreciate it. We would like to keep the cost under $0.40/sf.
We don't want to use anything metallic because per UL and the NEC, it has to be grounded, significantly increasing costs.
Thanks!
