Anyone with some experience on using the charts (Fig VI-5-135 to 138) in the Coastal Engineering Manual to calculate maximum wave forces (combined inertia & drag) on vertical piles.?

The charts do not appear to apply when the wave height/pile diameter is less than 2 i.e. small waves for typical pile structures. There are charts for W = 0.05, 0.1, 0.5 and 1.0 but none for W greater than 1.0.

Are there any other charts I could use for these smaller waves – at this stage I am after a ball park value – so not after a complex calculation.
