Hi,
Any recommended books regarding watermain construction works: EG; testing of HDPE/DI/uPVC watermains, chlorination, fittings, general site practice, reference to codes, water treatment plant operations etc. Been out of the water sector for a while and doing catch up reading.
Regards Richard

You can get books from American Water Works Association. Book M1 "Steel Pipe - A Guide for Design and Installation" and Book M41 - "Ductile-Iron Pipe and Fittings".

M23- PVC Pipe, Design and Installation

Many Thanks, Richard

Yes, indeed as said above refer the Code because every pipe manufacturer has to adhere to the prescribed codes. Moreover the Code clearly explains the topic, needed values and everything in regard. The Code to be selected depends upon the region wherein you are working. If there are no region specific codes then you could adopt American Water Works Association(AWWA) Codes and Standards.
