Hello,
I am doing a waterCAD analysis of a subdivision and I question the output that i am getting. I have entered the Hydrant Curve data for my flow point at a pump that is connected to it I also have the Water tank at the end of my run with the resvoir feeding the pump. The static pressure at 0 flow is 43 psi, but when i run the program with 0 demand it says that my pressure at the first node is 73 not the expected 43. Which has me questioning if i am doing this right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

E-mail the project to me, i'll try to help, something is wrong in the input.

Which way is the flow direction running? Is the tank filling? Check your node demands to ensure that they are indeed zero.

Also, check the pipe flow data. If there is no demand, and you are not simulating a fire flow from a node there should not be an increase in pressure if the pump is turned off. Otherwise, check the flow values (from the pipe) against you pump curve. That should answer the questions.
