Water Treatment Plant Backwash cycle malfunctioning

I operate a plant in Massachusetts. Recently we have had problems after our well was surged and cleaned. I don't know if the two are related but our control valves are malfunctioning. The first valve to open for a backwash is supposed to open at 600gpm and only shows around 200gpm. Then on the rinse cycle the outletvalve should indicate approximately 200gpm and is around 60 gpm. We have 3 filters and it is happening for each one. They system is hydronumatic and has been tested for the appropriate pressure.

Do you mean that the valves are hydropneumatic as in operating on water pressure?

Is the water pressure in your system at the normal normal?

What type of filter is it? It is odd to have a filter on well water unless you are trying to do iron removal.

Are the control valves are operated by pilots?
Pilot orifices are small and could have been plugged by sediment from the well surging, make sure all the control tubing and valves are clear, also check the strainer that feeds the control tubing, sometimes that strainer is hidden inside the tap fitting

To me, once the valve is open, it opened to its setup open degree. So the problem is not the valve itself if it is able to open. So the flowrate is low, it should be wrong with the feeding pump like BIMR comments. Please check the overall pressure profile of your system.
