how do I determine whether the associate water in the crude is from the reservoir or there is a leakage somewhere along the tubing.
Anything to watch out for.mere physical analysis together with provable points would be appreciated.
 
Looking at the water make up in terms of the different minerals, Calcium, sodium, sulphates, carbonates, Chlorides, ect.. Compare concentration and ratio's between eac. Your base is a well from the same formation or historical from same well.

You should repost in the petroleum production for more input.
