Gents,
I have a crowded area of foundations, want to use the sand cement mix for backfilling, 50 kg cement for 1 MT of sand
my question is how much the water ration shall be
I need a reference please

Why not just backfill with sand (no cement)?

A mixture of sand, cement, and water for backfill sounds like flowable fill. We usually specify f'c = 1500 psi and let the supplier determine the water required. The other option would be to select a w/c ratio of say 0.45 and calculate the water.
