Hello,

My concern what is the wall thickness for 1 inch pipe @ 2500 BAR, for SS and CS material.
Appreciate the support.

Just ask the piping design engineer - they will answer your question

Design code?
Material strength?
design temperature?

That is a very high pressure though. What duty is this?

What do you think it is?

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Appreciate your respond.

Design Code; B31.3
Material Strength: N/A
Design Temp; Ambient
Duty; Utility (Water)

I prefer for such pressure use Swagelok Tubing.

Utility water at almost 40,000 psig...? Anyways, how is material strength not applicable? CS and SS, those are both very basic descriptors of material types and the actual material and specification of the CS and SS matter. You've mentioned the design code is B31.3. I'd defer you to Chapter IX: High Pressure Piping for additional details, at least at this moment.

Thanks,
Ehzin

And to be clear, there is no standard 'pipe' that will handle these pressures.
The is a custom engineered application.

Thanks a lot for your broad answers;)
I will check B31.3 Ch IX.

Hello

Swagelock fittings will not do 40,000PSI. Cajon may make something for this press. This press seems to high even for a Water Jet.
Are you sure it does not say 250 bar.

At this pressure, your options are basically high pressure cone and thread tubing and fittings, custom dimension pipe, or giving up.
