Wall thickness calculation of ASME B 16.9

Hello experts,
Should I consider the formula provided in ASME B 31.3(304.2.1) for calculating wall thickness of ASME B 16.9 elbows which are manufactured say on mandrel? I did a WT check for for a particular case using 304.2.2 where I found that intrados thickness of LR(1.5D) ASME B 16.9 elbow exceeded the pipe WT of corresponding size. Please advise.

304.2 is for pipe bends, not elbows constructed per B16.9. See 302.2.2
