Wall-mounted wheel

Morning all,

I want to know how to mount a free-spinning wheel on a wall, like this: I figure I need a wheel bearing not a thrust bearing, but I'm not confident about what bearing would be appropriate for this context given the weight of the wood and the cat or where to find it. And what do I call the wall plate with perpendicular pole that will be the wheel's axle? I've tried so many google searches, and "pole bracket" and "post bracket" are irritatingly far from what I'm after... Only thing I can find is this but I'm certain it won't support enough weight
Any help greatly appreciated as I'm currently going in circles on my own

You might benefit from talking with an applications engineer at a manufacturer. Kaydon is a reputable source. They would want to know such things as the weight of the rotating gizmo and cat, speed of rotation (linear velocity of a running cat), diameter, low friction requirements, etc. So if you call, be prepared.
