According to GAMBICA, the Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology in the UK, close wound galvanised steel wire armour offers suitable screening for VSD motor cables.

Can XLPE/SWA/PVC cable to BS5467 be classed has having 'close wound galvanised steel wire armour'?
