I have a VRML version 2 file format and would like to bring it into Solidworks but have had no luck with it. I have being told they support only vrml file format 1 not 2. Is there a work around for this problem?

Actually SolidWorks is supposed to have support for VRML 2.0 files, VRML 97 files and VRML 1.0.

What version are you running?

I am running solidworks 2001 plus but also have Solidworks 2000 and 2001 on my machine

Hmmm in looking at the knowledge base, it is supposed to have support for this file type. unless I am reading it wrong, and maybe it onloy WRITES those formats, and READS only V.1.0 Regards,
