My company has recently acquired plants in MA and OH and the previous owner(s) were performing repairs on relief valves for the process (not the boiler house, air receivers or refrigeration equip) in house. I'm pretty clear that OH requires a VR stamp to do this work but am unsure about MA. I'm contacting the Jurisdiction, but with the holidays there is a delay. What are the member’s experiences? Also what are your opinions of "A separation of church and state" by having an outside outfit do the repairs? The BOHO is definitely going to stay 3rd party, the process is the question.
