Hi, I am doing viscoelastic analysis for highway pavement. This is my first time using Abaqus to do such kind analysis. I was in trouble in inputing some of viscoelastic parameters. I hope someone on this topic may help me out.
The testing data describing viscoelasticity is relaxation moduli converted from dymanic moduli. To run abaqus, some of inputs have to be obtained (only for material module): instantaneous elastic modulus, poisson's ratio, shear mudulus ratio and corresponding reduced time, etc. the temperature dependency is defined using WLF equation. My problem is WHERE to input pavement temperature for each runing. I know there is one location to input temprature when defining elastic parameters. But I found that this temperature did not affect my results by varying it. I failed to find related information in HELP. SO I am looking for help here. BTW, abaqus is runing well w/o considering temperature effect.
Thanks ahead of time.
