Hi,

I am using SW 2001+

For some reason, I can't seems to see the notes in a SLDDRW drawing from my customer even though in the preview mode, I can see it.

Would anyone know if there is a setting that I can adjust so that this problem can be rectified ?

Thanks in advance.

Stef

Stef,
Check to see if all layers are all turned on. Bradley

Hi Bradley,

There don't seem to be any layers in the drawing. Can you think of any other reason ?

Thanks in advance !

Just a thought. Maybe they are using a font that is not loaded on you system. BBJT CSWP

We had this problem with the SW viewer. Notes in the drawing would appear on the drawing but not when the drawing is view with SW viewre.

Our work around for this was to edit the sheet format and put the notes there.

Caper,
We also put our notes onto the sheet format in the beginning. That was not a good idea for us. The company changed its name twice now since using SolidWorks. When we changed our formats, “Logo”, the notes would disappear. We had to copy the notes to clipboard then paste them onto the sheet.

Hi All,

Thanks for the suggestions, although I think it may be more of a font issue.

As for the sheet edit bits, since I didn't create the file, it is a little difficult for me to try out. Doing that just leaves the standard borders etc. without the required notes.

Thanks !

Stef
