Victor VTurn lathe with Fanuc controller..Req connected to PC

I work in a small engineering workshop and have been tasked with making the connection between our CNC Victor VTurn late with Fanuc controller and a PC currently running Windows 98. We require to be able to dump and restore program data between the controller(and its RS232 port) and the PC. At present we have to manually button in the program data each time we change a job. I did have a program called " Predator" working but it limited us to 50 lines of code which was insufficient. Does anyone out there have a similar senario. I would appreciate any info on programs...or a program that would do this job for me, bearing in mind it is purely for saving and restoring data,

There are many programs available to handle this. My personal favorite is Procomm. You can find it at
