I am investigating vibrations due to sheetpile driving to an existing pipeline.
I have an equation for peak particle velocity

v = square root ( 2*c/ZL*wr)

wr = energy transferred to the pile.
My question is : what is the unit of wr in metric?
Is it Joules?
