I have a client in Vietnam who has a spec that calls for his equipment to vibrate less than 2.5 mm/sec (0 approx PK)(overall). Most of this makes sense, but does any one know about a 0 approx PK scale? Is this a filtering process? Thanks for the help.

I would guess that he is trying to indicate a preference for peak-to-zero overall (as opposed to rms or pk-pk), and that he is indicating he does not need true (max instantaneous) peak. (hence the term approx).

I don't think it is standard terminology and you might want to ask him.
