VFD-Harmonic disturbances out of specs?

The problem is the built-in AC choke of the VFD. The AC choke protects the drive from voltage spikes or other similar disturbances. The submitted VFD specs says that the inductance of the choke shall be enough to reduce the harmonic current disturbances to less than 45% THD(total harmonic disturbance). Our specs call for less than 5% total harmonic voltage distortion. It seems to me that these are two different parameters. Honeywell uses the term "harmonic current disturbances" while our specs use "total voltage disturbances."
